Interesting board. I wasn't clear that the very bottom stair and very top stair are connected, which caused me to lose my first game. I now see a sentence about that in the description - but even that sentence could be more clearly stated and it may make sense to add it to the game board itself in some way to make it clear to everyone. I am pretty sure I won my second game because my opponent didn't realize the connection between the very top and the very bottom. Overall, I'm not sure why a Helix would be connected in that manner - helixes don't do that and it doesn't make logical sense to me. Other than that, it was fun. I played three player games, but I suspect it would be even more fun and challenging with more players on the board.

Interesting board - I like the true global perspective. However, it is a painfully slow board. The 12 attack per turn limit makes it really hard (and time consuming!) to close out the game. Its particularly troublesome when you're playing a 3 or 4 person game and you are in the lead. The other players naturally come after the leader, and that gives them 24 or 36 turns versus the leader's 12. I appreciate the originality, but its a slow moving game.

I like the unique design and the need to develop unique strategies. My only issue lies with the dice luck. I fully understand the advantages/disadvantages each terrain or type of territory presents. Even so, there are extreme dice swings which are great when you are on the good side of it, but just suck when you're on the bad side.

I didn't think I'd like this board, but I do! I got a total sense that we were in a car race and chasing each other! Very fluid game.
